The goal of RTM is to create a supportive community centered around the idea of improving mental health through physical activity. RTM believes that we thrive when we are part of a group that encourages and uplifts one another, providing both emotional and physical support. By creating a space where individuals can come together, engage in exercise, and share their experiences. RTM aims to combat mental health challenges by building lasting connections that strengthen the community around us.

-Stretching and Deep Breathing
Deep breathing activates the body’s relaxation response, reducing levels of the stress hormone cortisol. Lower stress levels can improve focus and cognitive clarity, making it easier to tackle tasks throughout the day.
-STRENGTH TRAINING
Performing a series of strength exercises targeting major muscle groups, which can include bodyweight exercises like push-ups, squats, lunges, and planks. Aim for 2-3 sets of 8-12 repetitions for each exercise. •Benefits: Strength training releases endorphins, which can improve mood and alleviate symptoms of depression. It also enhances self-esteem and confidence.
RUN/ WALK
Find a quiet area, such as a park or a nature trail. Walk at a comfortable pace while paying attention to your surroundings. Focus on the sensation of your feet touching the ground, the rhythm of your breath, and the sights and sounds around you. •Benefits: This helps clear your mind, reduces anxiety, and promotes mindfulness.
